ABOUT US

Having spent most of their adult lives living in the South East of England and working in London, Mark and Trudy felt that it was time for change; a change of pace and a change of lifestyle.

In May 2004 they left the corporate world and the UK behind them and set up home in one of the three departments that make up the Limousin region - Creuse., situated between Gueret, the capital of Creuse, and Ahun. Their plan was to set up and run a chambres d'hotes that offered something different. Somewhere guests could enjoy a holiday or break away from the hussle and bussle of their day-to-day routines and enjoy the wonderful region of the Creuse. Whether they just wanted to relax in a street side café and wind down and take in the stunning scenary or perhaps take part in the many activities the area has to offer such as cycling, fishing, horseriding, walking or visiting numerous historical towns & villages.

Mark spent 10 years working as a qualified jeweller in the UK, and wanted to offer jewellery-making courses where people could learn the basic techniques and combine a 'craft' holiday along with the other things they could do.

As well as this, Mark also runs a successful Property Care business (Limousin Property Care), looking after holiday homes for people living in the UK. We would be happy to pass on our knowledge and experiences if you are planning on searching for a holiday home.
